MEDIA RELEASE

RAMPING UP THE FUN AT EMERALD'S NEW SKATE PARK

From skateboarding to basketball, Emerald's youth and the young at heart can now emulate their Paris Olympic heroes close to home thanks to the completion of upgrades at Worrell Reserve.

Member for Monbulk Daniela De Martino today joined local celebrations to officially open the new skate park and youth plaza, backed by a 2.3 billion in community sport and recreation infrastructure over the past decade.

The Victorian Budget 2024/25 is also providing more than 273,602 towards the project and the local community for its involvement in the consultation phases that informed the design and delivery of these wonderful new facilities.
