Boral Limited has applied to expand the Montrose Quarry by approximately 12.5 hectares, extending its operational life by an estimated 30 years.

This proposal raises environmental, health, and community concerns, including the proximity of the proposed expansion to local primary schools and early childhood centres.

I am strongly opposed to the expansion of the Montrose Quarry.

I share the local community’s concerns with Boral’s proposed expansion of the quarry and am in full support of the local community and will continue advocating for their interests.
